What we aim for

We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. In practice that means:

• Body text at 18px or larger, because much of our audience is over 65
• Text and background colour combinations that meet or exceed AA contrast, and most that meet AAA
• Every function reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• Meaningful text alternatives for images
• Headings and landmarks structured so screen readers can navigate the page
• Animation reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion
• The site works at 200% zoom and reflows on small screens

You never have to use this website to work with us. If any part of it is difficult, call 1-888-804-6464 and a licensed agent will go through everything with you by phone. TTY 711 for callers who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability.

We can provide documents in large print or another format on request, at no charge.
