How we handle your information, in plain language.
The short version
We collect what we need to give you insurance advice and to place coverage. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it with insurance carriers when you ask us to place or service coverage, and with the service providers who run our systems.
What we collect
- What you tell us: name, contact details, date of birth, household and income information where it affects subsidy eligibility, and health information such as prescriptions, conditions and the doctors you use.
- What we need to place coverage: Medicare number, Social Security number and payment details, where a carrier requires them for an application.
- Automatically, from this website: your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookie preferences. This site is a set of static pages; it has no login and no forms.
Why we use it
To compare plans for you, to submit and service applications, to contact you about your coverage, to review your plan annually, and to meet legal, regulatory and carrier record-keeping obligations — including recording calls where the law or a carrier requires it.
Who we share it with
- Insurance carriers, to quote, submit and service your coverage.
- Service providers who operate our phone system, CRM and hosting, under contracts that restrict them to working on our behalf.
- Regulators, or where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
Health information
Health information you give us is treated as confidential and used only to place and service your coverage. Where we act as a business associate of a covered entity, we handle protected health information in line with HIPAA.
How long we keep it
As long as we service your coverage and afterwards for as long as insurance regulations, carrier agreements and tax law require — typically several years. Then we delete or de-identify it.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice; these cannot be switched off. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set if you accept them. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it by clearing your browser storage for this site, which will bring the banner back.
Your rights

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
